2023 Year-End Notes

This year has been a roller coaster of emotions, starting with my focus on developing the suitable mental model. With the emergence of Gen AI, the relationship between humans and computers is being reevaluated. I have always been fascinated by ambient computing since my college days, and now everything is coming together as spatial computing evolves alongside artificial intelligence. The interactions between humans and machines are becoming more natural. This is reflected in work, personal learnings and community initiatives.

Community Initiatives,

We tried initiating an idea called the job movement at last year's devfest’22; as part of this initiative, I started this design Cohort and ran the first cohort for a couple of design enthusiasts.

We did some good experiments as part of the product space talks, camp, movie night, and workshops.

And with Google Developers Group Coimbatore, we did some experiments, too, partnering with communities and the city.

A two-day workshop series on Rust for Android.
This year, I/O extended a month-long engagement with the community to build together for the city we love and live in.
